Jews don’t kill Jews, they kill Arabs – and that’s funny!
An interesting picture turned up in the pages of Haaretz a short while ago. Please excuse my tardiness in bringing it to attention.
During Ariel Sharon’s visit to New York there were a number of American Jews who took time out of their busy lives to protest the Disengagement Law – under which Israel is to withdraw from the Gaza strip. The right wing calls this a population transfer, something Jews are not supposed to do to Jews (however, it is something they say Jews can do to Palestinians – also known as “Plan B”).
Taking advantage of the former war criminal turned peace criminal’s appearance, some American “settlers” – who hale from a piece of territory known as “Long Island.” Though, it should be pointed out that these Jews moved in some time after the White Man stole it from the Native Americans.
In expressing their occupational solidarity, many of these New York Jews took the time to prepare placards. Mind you, they did not take the time to construct enormous paper mache puppets of great whimsy - as is the established trend popular on today’s demonstration circuit (though most often seen at demonstrations for good, as opposed to evil).
At this point, please take note of the angry, young boy, whose sign reads, “Don’t do unto Jews what you won’t do to Arabs.” Pray tell ya lil’ bastard, what does this mean? Feel free to go ask the person who authored this scathing remark – go on you little monkey, I’ll wait.
It seems that the evacuation of Jews from occupied Gaza has been equated with ethnic cleansing – note the adjacent sign. So, can it be understood that this slogan as an indirect call for an ethnic cleansing of the Arabs population instead? Or, can it be inferred that an ethnic cleansing of the Jews would be permissible only if there is an ethnic cleansing of the Arabs? I think the former to be true – after all, the Jews are a very funny people. To borrow (and alter) one of Mel Brooks’ famous lines, “Tragedy is an ethnic cleansing of my own people. Comedy is when your people are ethnically cleansed and die.”
Sharon has already been convicted of indirect responsibility for similar acts back during his Lebanon fiasco. It was indirect, but that seems to be an unfair point upon which to fixate for a prime minister willing to break out his ethnic cleansing bucket. So, in either case we’ve done it to the Arabs (and it’s alright if it wasn’t the same exact group since us Zionists don’t distinguish amongst Arabs in our attempt to champion the Pan-Arab cause).
We have the experience, we have the will. In short, clean em’ out of there – the Jews that is. And then, when we’re done, let’s do the same thing in the West Bank and, dare I say it, Palestinian East Jerusalem. You know, the section of our undivided and indivisible capital where a handful of Jews live under the heavy protection of their private militia amongst millions of Palestinians. But, “Where will it all stop?” you ask, while nibbling at your nails and cuticles. The answer: there.
If you disagree with me you’re gay. Sorry, but you are.
